DHA Prefractionation Timing Standard; (SD-040)
C5 – C15 quantitative standard used to establish pre-fractionator timing; 6 X 1.3 mL
Additional Information
This is a quantitative standard used to set pre-fractionation timing for DHA analysis. Prefractionation is typically used to prevent higher boiling components (ex. C10+) if present in the sample (ex. crude oil) from entering the high resolution capillary column. Higher boiling components can greatly add to what already is a lengthy analysis time and/or contaminate the column itself.
